Position SummaryThe PRN Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, kitchen sanitation, and dining room support while helping create a positive dining experience for residents.
Responsibilities- Assist with meal preparation and food service according to established dietary guidelines
- Set up and serve meals and snacks to residents
- Deliver meal trays and assist with tray collection
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
- Stock supplies and assist with inventory as needed
- Work closely with dietary staff to ensure quality meal service
- Provide friendly and courteous service to residents and guests
- Previous dietary aide, food service, restaurant, hospitality, cafeteria, or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
