  • Hoists for the world’s second heaviest on-shore lifter at 13,000 tons
  • High speed winches and control system for a 2,000-foot artificial surfing pool
  • Gate hoists on the largest infrastructure project in Canada
  • Mechanical stage device for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas
  • Shaft sinking winches with 110,000 lbs line pull for mining projects in Australia
  • Mooring and riser pull-in systems for multiple offshore energy projects world-wide
  • Hoists for aqueduct construction which supplies 50% of drinking water to New York City

What You Will Do

  • Design cool heavy-lifting equipment – hard core, break out the text books and calculators engineering
  • Perform calculations required for the winch or hoist to be engineered and lead the process of advance material requisitions to get key components on order
  • Create highly-engineered, no-two-projects-are-the-same designs
  • Witness the manufacturing and testing of equipment you designed to help shape the world’s infrastructure, which is involved in some of the biggest, coolest projects in the world

Who You Are

  • Intellectually curious, passionate about learning and being the best
  • Previous design experience engineering capital equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Sense of urgency, highly responsive and oriented towards action
  • Can-do attitude, and respond in all situations with a positive and energized attitude
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering
