Timberlake Hotel is seeking a talented, fast, well-organized front desk associate to join our team. This individual will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing online and phone bookings, and verifying guests' payment methods during check-in. Candidate should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests and other hotel staff. This position is a set seasonal schedule with the opportunity to remain on depending on position availability. Applicant must have an enthusiastic and passionate outlook of the City of Staples and surrounding area, and stay up-to-date on attractions that may be of interest to guests.
Hotel Front Desk Responsibilities:
- Checking guests in and out.
- Receiving and managing phone and online reservations.
- Verifying guests' payment methods during check-in.
- Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel.
- Providing guests with information about the hotel.
- Keeping abreast of attractions that may be of interest to guests.
Hotel Front Desk Requirements:
- High school qualification or equivalent.
- Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous but we are willing to train the right candidate if previous experience is a barrier.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Competency with Microsoft Office & Typing Skills

Position Work Schedule
- Thursday - 1pm - 9pm
- Friday - 1pm - 9pm
- Saturday - 1pm - 9pm
- Sunday - 7:30am - 2:30pm
Position Duration : June 18, 2026 - October 11, 2026
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
