Position Summary:
The Warranty Technician plays a critical role in ensuring homeowner satisfaction by managing post-construction warranty services and resolving service requests efficiently and professionally. This position oversees all warranty claims and repairs, coordinates with subcontractors, and ensures compliance with company standards and applicable warranties. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential construction, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire homeowner warranty process, from initial request to final resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty issues.
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise repairs with subcontractors and internal technicians.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, resolutions, and communications via Buildertrend.
- Identify and track recurring warranty issues to help improve construction processes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on warranty trends and performance metrics.
- Ensure all warranty services are completed within applicable timeframes.
- Attend final walk through with superintendent and inform client of warranty process and expectations.

· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Experience in repair work and interior and exterior maintenance work
· Experience in residential construction would be preferred
