Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) and part-time basis. Duties
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately documenting all findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Support clinical staff by preparing patients for examinations or procedures using aseptic techniques and maintaining infection control standards.
- Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary under supervision.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality of medical records, and following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, or home & community care settings to deliver comprehensive patient-centered services.
Requirements
- Current certification as a CNA with valid state licensure.
- Prior experience working in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care
- Experience with POC
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities to support patients' physical and emotional needs.
