Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Ski Lift Operator to join our team at our ski hill. Duties
- Operate ski lifts safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth boarding and disembarking for guests
- Assist guests with loading and unloading, providing clear instructions and support as needed
- Monitor lift operations continuously to identify and address any safety concerns or operational issues
- Enforce safety protocols and communicate rules to ensure guest safety at all times
- Handle guest inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving conflicts promptly
- Collaborate with other resort staff to coordinate events or special activities that involve lift access
- Perform routine inspections of lift equipment and report maintenance needs to technical staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization around lift stations to ensure a safe environment
Skills
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills, including public speaking abilities
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and guest experience
- Lifeguard experience, experience with children, or food service background can be beneficial for guest interactions in a resort setting
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrating professionalism during high-volume periods or emergencies
