Duties
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- To monitor the overall condition and changes of the residents and report any changes.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering independence and enhancing daily living skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring all equipment is functional and hygienic.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Readiness to work as part of a team
- Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus but not mandatory.
