Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and outdoor work when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor cleaning techniques.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and appliances.
- Follow proper janitorial and custodial procedures to uphold sanitation standards across all areas of the residence.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals along with proper handling procedures.
- Excellent manual handling skills for lifting heavy items safely without injury.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning or yard-related chores when needed.
