Heavy Equipment Operator- Excavator
Timber Canyon Construction, LLC is a growing Central Oregon based company that specializes in municipal, commercial and subdivision construction. Our team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an operator position that has a desire to grow with the company.
Position–
- Safety Conscious
-Understand and implement sloping, shoring, and benching per OSHA standards
-Experienced in deeper excavations (up to 20’)
- Daily fuel, grease, and maintenance of equipment
-Ability to understand grades and excavate/build on grade
- Ability to interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Positive attitude
-Eye for detail and pride in quality of work
- Carryout tasks in a clean, and professional manner
- Typical work week 40-50 hrs per week
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time
- Work on jobsite environments in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- 5 years operating experience
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- CDL and GPS experience a plus
