Duties
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate lubricants and ensure proper disposal of used fluids
- Execute wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, including brakes, suspension, and steering components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs and maintenance tasks accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Assist with vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance to uphold dealership standards
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and repairs is a strong advantage
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including tires, brakes, oil systems, and alignments
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience in customer service within an automotive setting is beneficial
- Ability to lift heavy tires and vehicle parts safely during service procedures
- Service technician experience that demonstrates attention to detail and quality workmanship
