Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, train, and manage the dealership sales team
- Establish and monitor individual and department sales goals
- Desk deals and assist sales associates with structuring and closing deals
- Maximize sales volume and gross profit while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Monitor leads and ensure consistent and timely customer follow-up
- Manage new and pre-owned vehicle sales activity
- Monitor sales performance, closing ratios, gross profit, and other key performance indicators
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop sales professionals
- Work closely with the General Manager and Finance Department
- Ensure dealership processes and manufacturer standards are followed
- Maintain a professional, accountable, and high-energy sales environment
Qualifications
- Automotive sales experience required
- Previous automotive sales management experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a successful sales team
- Strong desking, closing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to coach employees and hold team members accountable
- Strong understanding of dealership sales processes and CRM systems
- Results-driven with a focus on both volume and profitability
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Professional appearance and attitude
