Apprentice Tech
Tilson’s Auto Repair is currently seeking an apprentice technician that values honesty, respect, continuous learning, and being a team player. Preferrably this individual is going or attending automotive school, and/or is graduating. Our goal is to guide and develop this individual to become a full time technician. There will be a learning curve but it's up to the individual to quickly progress. Paid apprentice training, and continuous mentorship from shop foreman and other top level technicians.
Road Map
- Learn and understand safety inspections with oil changes, tires, and other maintenance services
- Learn brakes, alignments, and steering/suspension
- Learning belts, hoses, seals, gaskets, and axles
- Learning internal repairs
- Learning check engine light, and electrical diagnostic
Goal: at the end we want you ASE Master Certified
Other Job roles
- Clean and maintain shop cleanliness
- Help with quality control inspections
- Assist with vehicle drop off and delivery
- Perform shop projects the Shop Foreman wants you to perform
Benefits: $1000 Tool Allowance, Paid Time off, AC and Heated shop, Paid Training, Weekly Lunch
Pay: $22.50 - $28.50 per hour
