Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of complex electrical infrastructure, including industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems in accordance with electrical schematics, blueprints, and local electrical codes.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations safely following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and schematics to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Conduct diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within electrical circuits and systems.
• Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures by adhering to NFPA 70E standards during all phases of electrical work.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor controls, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment effectively on-site for installation or repair tasks.
• Collaborate with project teams during renovations or new construction projects to ensure electrical systems are installed according to specifications.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure all work aligns with local electrical codes and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Prior commercial electrician experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E standards for electrical safety procedures in industrial settings.
• Experience working on high-voltage electrical wiring projects within manufacturing or construction environments.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams with precision.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and schematic reading.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites or renovation projects involving complex electrical work.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes such as NEC requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot intricate electrical systems efficiently using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent hand tool proficiency for detailed electrical wiring tasks.
