Job Summary:
As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) at TilloHealth, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and quality care to elderly patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist elderly patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to geriatric patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and behaviors.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately.
Qualifications:
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Empathy and understanding for the unique needs of elderly patients.
- Attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
