Auto Body Paint Prep - FULL TIME

AUTO PAINT PREPPER – FULL-TIME

We are a family-owned and operated independent body shop that has proudly served the Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs area for over 70 years.

We are currently looking for a dependable Auto Paint Prepper to join our team in a full-time position.

Position Details

• Full-Time Auto Paint Prepper
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay: Hourly, based on experience
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Previous auto body or paint-prep experience is preferred
• Basic tools are required

Responsibilities

The position will primarily involve preparing vehicles and repaired panels for refinishing, including:

• Sanding and preparing repaired panels
• Masking vehicles and panels for paint
• Scuffing and preparing blend areas
• Applying and sanding primer as needed
• Cleaning and preparing surfaces before paint
• Identifying imperfections that need additional attention
• Assisting the painter and body technicians as needed

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality work. The right person should be able to work efficiently, follow instructions, and work well as part of a team.

Experience in an automotive body shop or paint department is preferred, but we are willing to consider someone with less experience who has a strong work ethic and is willing to learn.
