What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Manager position at Tillamook Country Smoker?
The Safety Manager will provide Safety leadership and strategic direction, planning and initiatives for Bay City & Beaverton Sites.
· Foster a culture of Safety, influencing and motivating others to prioritize workplace safety.
· Develop, implement and enforce safety policies & procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
· Conduct regular Safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify hazards.
· Lead Safety Programs, training & initiatives to promote safe behaviors and best practices.
· Conduct new hire training in areas such as; LOTO, Hazzard Communication, PPE, Food Safety, General Manufacturing Processes.
· Review training regularly with employees to ensure awareness and adherence to Safety initiatives.
· Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
· Collaborate with management on emergency action plans, injury case management and return to work processes.
· Monitor industry trends and regulations to maintain best practices in environmental health and safety.
· Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents and compliance activities.
· Participate in team meetings and provide a strong on-site presence to reinforce safety accountability.
Bachelors degree in Safety or related field preferred.
3 years of progressive experience in environmental safety and sustainability management preferred. Strong knowledge of safety regulations OSHA hazard communications accident investigation & safety training methods.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
