Key Responsibilities
- Greet every client warmly and provide attentive assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
- Understand and explain the differences between floor and wall tiles
- Write up and process client orders accurately using QuickBooks
- Calculate quantities, square footage, and pricing to ensure accurate orders
- Process payments via cash, credit card, or check
- Issue receipts accurately and efficiently
- Maintain store cleanliness, both inside and outside
- Organize and restock samples and inventory
- Support sales efforts by participating in promotions and company initiatives
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals to qualify for commission
- Work collaboratively as a team player to support daily operations and store goals
- Build and maintain strong product knowledge to assist clients effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, count, and communicate clearly
- Strong math skills required (including measurements, square footage calculations, and pricing)
- Understanding of service principles and sales techniques
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
