Responsibilities
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to receipts and invoices, resolving any discrepancies
- Collaborate with customers to report transaction details, resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships
- Follow up on status of account payment, credit and dealer accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoice or payment issues
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Track activity of specific accounts
- Maintain historical records
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries via phone or email with professionalism
- Any other tasks as required
Required Education
- High school degree
Basic Qualifications
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- PC proficiency (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
- Knowledge and operational use of 10 key by touch and keyboarding skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record keeping and account reconciliation tasks
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to learn new financial software
- Fast learner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
