Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Social Media Content Intern who is passionate about storytelling, digital content creation and most importantly -- true crime. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in content production, social media marketing, and online brand growth. You will be responsible for researching, scripting, screen recording, and editing short-form videos with Capcut. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in building skills in digital media, marketing, and social strategy. We support the use of AI in all spaces and are always excited to hear about new ways that you can improve the workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop short-form video scripts based on true crime stories. You will use AI to help you generate the scripts and make sure they are optimized for growth.
- Screen record and edit TikTok videos optimized for engagement and retention.
- Assist with brainstorming new content ideas and strategies to increase reach.
- Learn best practices for social media growth, analytics, and marketing.
- Stay up to date on true crime trends, TikTok trends, and viral formats.

Pay/Commission:
In simple terms, the internship will be you (the intern) taking control of your own account which you will create videos for consistently -- 3 videos a day. The #1 goal is to get the account to 10,000 TikTok followers which unlocks several monetization channels through TikTok. If the intern succeeds in getting their account to reach 10,000 followers, they will receive $500 as well as 10% of all income generated by the account for the first 30 days. This commission structure is not only very high ceiling, but gives a true goal and motivation for the intern to reach.
