Team Overview
The team's mission is to improve delivery experience while minimizing costs from Fulfillment by TikTok (FBT) via seamless integrated FBT product solution and operation.
We are looking for a highly analytical and operationally strong Last Mile Solution Manager to support our rapidly growing e-commerce platform. This role focuses on building and optimizing last-mile delivery solutions for high-volume parcel shipments across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has strong experience in e-commerce logistics, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands how to integrate carriers, delivery partners, and tech-driven routing to create a seamless consumer experience.
This role requires a blend of operational expertise, vendor management, data analysis, and project execution to ensure fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery for merchants, creators, and end customers.
Responsibilities
1. Last-Mile Operations & Network Optimization
-Develop and manage scalable last-mile delivery solutions for a high-growth e-commerce platform
-Optimize routing, zone coverage, and service models to achieve faster and more reliable delivery
-Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce delivery lead time and cost-per-package
-Monitor daily delivery performance, capacity, and exceptions across all carrier partners
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
-Support onboarding of new carriers by defining routing entry criteria and integration requirements
-Support product launches, promotions, and major sales events by planning delivery capacity
-Work closely with Strategy & Business analytical teams to set cost-per-package and lead time goals
-Work with merchant operations, warehouse / fulfillment teams, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery
3. Performance Analytics & Reporting
-Build and analyze dashboards for on-time delivery rate, first-attempt success, cost per order, and exception trends
-Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend data-driven solutions
-Collaborate closely with data, product, and engineering teams to enhance system logic and routing algorithms
4. Carrier Management
-The role may also involve carrier management tasks per assigned by team leader
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
-3 years of experience in e-commerce logistics, parcel delivery, last-mile operations, or platform fulfillment
-Strong understanding of parcel networks, delivery SLAs, and carrier performance management
-Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; experience with data dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
-Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
-Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal teams and external carriers
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in modern e-commerce platforms
-Familiarity with OMS/TMS systems, routing tech, or delivery optimization tools
-Proficient SQL or data analytics skills
-Experience designing new logistics programs (same-day, next-day, regional carrier onboarding, etc.)
