We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Inside Sales / Estimating Coordinator to join our growing team in Leander, Texas.
The Inside Sales / Estimating Coordinator is responsible for preparing quotes, coordinating trucking logistics, and supporting the sales process from initial request through job execution. This role works closely with customers, dispatch, and operations to ensure accurate pricing, timely communication, and efficient job scheduling.
- Review incoming quote requests for hauling, materials, and project support
- Prepare accurate estimates based on job scope, location, tonnage, and project duration
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations to confirm truck availability and scheduling
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing, timelines, and job details
- Track and follow up on open quotes to convert opportunities into booked work
- Enter and maintain customer, job, and pricing information in company systems
- Assist with job setup, including work orders, rate confirmations, and documentation
- Support invoicing by verifying job details, rates, and project changes
- Prepare and submit quotes for active bid opportunities
- Follow up on quotes submitted throughout the week
- Build and expand customer relationships through BuildingConnected and direct outreach
- Coordinate and place orders for next-day projects
- Track quote activity and update internal systems with current job statuses
- Work closely with dispatch and operations to ensure smooth execution of scheduled work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in construction, trucking, logistics, dispatching, or estimating preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through skills
