Job Overview

Tigon Golf Carts is looking for motivated, outgoing, and highly driven Outside Sales Representatives to help grow our sales, rentals, service, and commercial customer base.

This position is a great fit for someone who is charismatic, self-motivated, organized, comfortable talking to people, and interested in earning commission based on results. We are looking for people who can represent the Tigon Golf Carts brand professionally while actively creating new business opportunities.

This role may be full-time or part-time. The schedule is flexible, but the right person must be dependable, proactive, and willing to pursue leads consistently without needing constant supervision.

This is primarily a field-based role. Outside Sales Representatives should expect to spend most of their working time out of the office visiting prospects, meeting customers, attending events, following up with leads, and creating new business opportunities.

Each Outside Sales Representative generally represents the area around a specific Tigon Golf Carts store location. This does not mean the employee works inside the store full-time.

Duties

  • Contacting potential commercial customers
  • Creating and managing new leads
  • Following up with customers in a timely and organized manner
  • Promoting golf cart sales, rentals, service, financing, accessories, warranties, and other Tigon services
  • Visiting businesses, communities, campgrounds, event venues, apartment complexes, sports complexes, entertainment centers, and other potential customers
  • Representing Tigon Golf Carts professionally in the field
  • Learning Tigon’s products, pricing, services, and quoting process
  • Using Tigon’s systems to track leads, quotes, notes, and customer activity
  • Communicating with headquarters when quotes, inventory, pricing, or approvals are needed
  • Attending trade shows, demo days, local events, and customer meetings when approved
  • Helping build long-term commercial relationships for Tigon Golf Carts
  • Actively identifying and pursuing trade show, demo day, pop-up sales, and local event opportunities
  • Keeping promotional materials, business cards, and customer-facing information current and professional

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, home shows, vednor showcases and client settings.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software like Salesforce; familiarity with CRM best practices is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities to connect with diverse customer bases across different communities is a plus
  • Experience in door-to-door sales, technical sales, or customer service roles.
  • Ability to communicate all specifications of products in terms where all people of different knowledge base can easily understand.

Base pay: $18 per hour

Commission is available based on unit volume and other eligible sales.

Unit sales commission is calculated by calendar year and resets annually

Schedule

This position may be full-time or part-time.

The expected schedule is flexible, but employees must be able to work at least 20 hours per week.

Employees may work up to 40 hours per week.

Overtime is not allowed unless approved in writing.

Most work should be performed in the field. Approximately 90% of the role should be out of the office, but employees are welcome to work from a Tigon Golf Carts location when useful or necessary.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be comfortable with local travel
  • Must be willing to travel overnight when approved or required
  • Must be professional, reliable, and organized
  • Must be able to communicate clearly by phone, text, email, and in person
  • Must be able to learn Tigon’s products, pricing, and services
  • Must be able to proficiently use computer systems
  • Must maintain a professional appearance while representing the company
  • Tigon Golf Carts may require background checks, motor vehicle record checks, drug testing, reference checks, or employment verification as part of the hiring or employment process

Tigon Golf Carts is a fast-growing golf cart dealership that sells, rents, services, and supports golf carts across multiple locations. We work with retail customers, commercial customers, campgrounds, communities, events, apartment complexes, entertainment venues, and many other organizations.

Pay: $360.00 - $720.00 per week
