Job Summary
Warehouse Supervisor has general responsibility for coordinating all warehouse activities daily. Responsible for supervising the receiving, storage and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.
Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm
Pay: $23-24/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing schedules. Apply sound communication and leadership techniques in assigning work and coaching associates.
- Carry out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders and handling complaints, in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
- Supervise checking and unloading or inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with high levels of productivity.
- Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted.
- Communicate with Tighe drivers assigned to Amazon Account to ensure that the deliveries are made on time to the Amazon facilities.
- Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security.
- Open and close building in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience
- High School Diploma and at least 2-4 years of experience in related field
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with computers and material handling equipment is required.
- Familiarity with MHE is required.
- Must have excellent work habits.
- Fluent in Spanish.
