Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly using various POS systems.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as necessary to ensure smooth service flow.
- Uphold all food safety standards and proper alcohol service policies to promote responsible drinking.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience working in a nightclub or catering environment will be advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices for food safety, food handling, and customer service excellence is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced settings such as brewing establishments or retail environments within the hospitality sector.
