Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Sales Assistant to work closely with our sales team. This role will support our sales agents by entering products and orders into our system, following up with customers, and tracking orders to ensure manufacturers ship orders on time.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
- Enter customer orders and product information into company systems
- Assist sales agents with day-to-day administrative support
- Follow up with customers regarding orders and inquiries
- Communicate with manufacturers to ensure timely shipment of orders
- Prepare and complete government bids and customer quote requests
- Help maintain organized records and order documentation
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Customer service or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
