Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining environment
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience working in a restaurant, café, retail store, or grocery environment is beneficial
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bussing tables or stocking supplies
