What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety professional position at Tiger Safety Rentals?
Tiger Safety is looking for Offshore and Land Safety Technicians to support various Offshore Upstream Operations and Land Operations across Louisiana and Texas. Jobs vary from supporting Drilling, Construction, P&A and Production Operations.
Job Duties
-Supporting Oil and Gas Operators in the GOA and Land Based Oil and Gas sites.
-Supports Operations in their efforts to reduce incidents involving injury to personnel and or damage to equipment or property.
-Communicates client expectations as it relates to safety, health, and environmental issues.
-Implements the clients safety management system by ensuring policies and procedures are followed onsite.
-Participates in incident investigations and or observations at the worksite. Documents those findings and reports out on those findings to the appropriate management staff. Assists client in corrective action implementation.
-Familiar with and can use the Microsoft Office Suite including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email using Microsoft Office Outlook.
-Able to scan and use a computer to report out on activities at the jobsite.
-Participates and or leads the safety efforts on site.
-Able to talk and lead safety meetings in or pre-job/task meetings
