Firm Overview
Tiger Rock Capital Management is a hedge fund based in Orange County, California, founded by CIO and Managing Partner Brendan Burns. The fund focuses on long-term public equity investments in technology, financials, and consumer sectors. Our mission is to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns to investor.
Role Objective
Support the firm’s investor relations efforts by helping identify and research potential accredited investors, assisting with outreach strategy, and helping schedule introductory conversations with the Managing Partner. This is a hands-on learning opportunity to gain real-world experience in hedge fund operations, capital raising, and professional networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on potential accredited investors using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and other professional databases.
- Assist in preparing outreach messaging, investor presentations, and fund materials.
- Help organize and manage CRM data and investor pipelines.
- Leverage personal and professional networks for warm introductions only (all direct investor communications and meetings will be handled by the Managing Partner).
- Support scheduling and preparation for investor calls and meetings.
- Contribute to creative strategies for building the firm’s network and visibility.
- This role is support-oriented and designed for someone looking to learn how hedge funds operate and raise capital.

Ideal Candidate
- Recent graduate or Current student or recent graduate (strong institutions preferred)
- Interested in financial business development, investor relations, and/or marketing

- Comfortable with LinkedIn and basic outbound professional networking.
Compensation
- Compensation will be discussed with candidates during the interview process and may vary based on experience, availability, and school credit eligibility.
