Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare to children and adolescents. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that our young patients receive the highest quality of medical attention. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing various pediatric conditions while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and their families.
What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
- Provide reassurance and guidance on evidence-based clinical practices including vaccinations and antibiotic stewardship.
- Educate families on health management, preventive care, and wellness strategies.
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) tailored to pediatric care for accurate documentation.
Basic qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatrics or Family Practice.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri.
- Experience with children in various healthcare settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, or urgent care facilities.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in EMR systems for efficient patient management.
- Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD-10 for accurate medical documentation.
- Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and experience managing acute conditions.
