Duties
- Could operate heavy machinery including excavators,bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment to assist in construction and utility installation projects
- Perform underground utility locating and pipeline work to ensure accurate placement and safety compliance
- Conduct fiber pulling and power tool operations for various utility systems
- Use hand tools and power tools for equipment maintenance, repairs, and construction tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Climb ladders and scaffolding safely to access elevated work areas; perform rigging and heavy lifting as needed
- Engage in manual handling activities including lifting heavy materials and equipment during construction or maintenance projects
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and performing equipment maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor environments under various weather conditions
- Excellent climbing skills with the ability to work at heights; comfortable using ladders.
