What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiber Production Supervisor (Aerial & Underground) position at Tiger Communication?
Fiber Production Supervisor (Aerial & Underground) π Indianapolis, IN area currently | Full-Time | Travel Required
We are a telecom infrastructure contractor actively deploying underground and aerial networks across multiple markets. We're looking for a hands-on Fiber Production Supervisor who knows what it takes to keep AT&T construction standards met, crews moving, and work flowing, not someone learning on the job.
This role travels with production teams across active markets. If you need a desk to feel productive, this isn't it.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
β Direct daily management of underground and aerial construction crews across assigned markets, setting the pace, setting the standard
β Issue and manage work orders; guide and oversee locates; review completed work for accuracy before submission
β Review and approve crew timesheets; flag discrepancies before they become problems
β QC work in the field, AT&T specs aren't suggestions, and you know that
β Provide regular production updates to the Operations Manager; keep them informed, not surprised
β Make noise when it matters, calling out underperforming crews, requesting replacements, or flagging the need for more production capacity
β Recognize and call out strong performance, accountability goes both ways
WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY REQUIRES
β 3 years in a supervisory or management role on telecom construction projects, you've led crews, not just worked alongside them
β Real working knowledge of AT&T construction standards and what it takes to keep them as a satisfied client
β Experience with both underground and aerial scopes
β Willingness and ability to travel with production teams to different markets
β Available standard business hours, and understands that critical field issues don't wait for Monday morning
β Strong communication skills, report up to the Operations Manager clearly and consistently
BE REAL WITH YOURSELF BEFORE APPLYING
This is a field supervision role, not a title with a light workload behind it. You will be in markets, on job sites, managing real crews against real deadlines for a demanding client. If you've held a supervisor title but spent most of your time in an office, this will be an adjustment. We need someone who already knows the weight of this role and is ready to carry it.
To apply, send your resume and a brief description of the AT&T markets or scopes you've managed. Candidates with demonstrated AT&T project experience will be prioritized.
Compensation based on experience.
