Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert consultation on regulatory compliance initiatives, support technology infrastructure improvements, and enhance data lifecycle management practices within our banking organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for regulatory compliance solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory technology enhancements
- Document and maintain complex regulatory systems and processes
- Develop and maintain regulatory compliance reporting solutions
- Provide technical expertise on IT infrastructure, particularly backup systems and disaster recovery
- Collaborate on infrastructure improvement initiatives supporting regulatory compliance
- Ensure data quality and integrity across regulatory reporting systems
- Support audit preparations and remediation efforts
- Create detailed project documentation and technical specifications
- Assist with testing and validation of regulatory solutions
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or consulting
- Strong technical business analysis skills with experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Demonstrated involvement in regulatory compliance projects (e.g., BSA/AML, KYC, GDPR, Basel, Dodd-Frank)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various organizational levels
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, particularly backup systems and procedures (highly valued)
- Experience with data lifecycle management practices and solutions
- Financial industry certifications (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CERP)
- Experience with regulatory reporting systems and tools
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices
- Project management experience or certification
