The Inventory Supervisor oversees the inventory staff and all inventory control activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity through cycle counting, reconciliation, and full physical inventories. The duties include establishing and mentoring the team, assigning individual responsibilities, maintaining a cadence for counts and reporting variations in inventory.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Train, supervise and mentor inventory staff to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage daily inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Plan and execute cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports for management.
- Provide regular performance and planning updates to the executive leadership team

- Experience and competence with MS Office Products including Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Word.
- Problem-solving and detail-orientated, able to think critically about complex problems and make practical decisions
- Team orientated, able to work with diverse individuals within and outside the TIG Organization.

Requirements:
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in inventory in a 3PL or Warehouse Distribution environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisor role in a 3PL or Warehouse Distribution environment.
- Proven experience in inventory control, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and physical inventories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
