Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, bar, and serving stations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Prior food service or restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Experience with wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, spirits, and beverage service is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members professionally
