Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced reporting and analytics professional to take a key role in the evolution of TIFF’s investment data infrastructure and reporting capabilities. This individual is expected to work independently, complete various reporting deliverables and contribute meaningfully to making TIFF a data-centric organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OCIO-specific investment data and the ability to independently perform advanced performance and risk analytics. They will also help lead the build-out of TIFF’s investment data warehouse. Additionally, they will be involved in the client onboarding process, including building new client portfolios based on historical data provided, and ensuring accurate setup in TIFF’s systems.
OCIO Data Management & Infrastructure
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks tailored to TIFF’s OCIO clients, ensuring high relevance, clarity, and consistency of performance data.
- Manage and validate investment data across portfolios, funds, and securities, applying robust reconciliation and quality-control processes to ensure data integrity throughout the reporting lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine portfolio views, performance attribution models, and exposure reporting based on OCIO requirements.
- Support the build-out of TIFF’s enterprise investment data warehouse, by drafting validation logic, defining and enriching key data structures, and ensuring accurate and timely ingestion of investment data from multiple upstream sources.
- Oversee the receipt, reconciliation, and integration of investment data from custodians, third-party platforms (Solovis, FactSet, Bloomberg), and internal sources.
Independent Reporting & Analytics Execution
- Independently design and maintain portfolio-level and security-level reports, including performance, attribution, exposure, and liquidity analysis.
- Support a high-volume reporting environment, including approximately 60 client-level reporting packages, 10 fund-level reports, and a variety of internal dashboards and ad hoc analyses on a recurring basis.
- Deliver internal reporting packages (e.g., weekly dashboards, exposure snapshots) and client materials (e.g., quarterly performance reports, fund fact sheets) with minimal oversight.
- Conduct detailed, security- and factor-level deep-dive analyses to support performance and attribution review across portfolios and strategies.
- Analyze and clearly articulate key drivers of performance, including asset allocation, security selection, market movements, and manager decisions.
- Investigate performance anomalies and data discrepancies, partnering with internal teams as needed to validate results and resolve issues.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, decision-useful insights for internal stakeholders and client reporting

Qualifications:Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in financial services, with at least 2 years specifically in investment data analytics, reporting, or OCIO-related work.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently
- Expert knowledge of investment analytics platforms (e.g., Solovis, FactSet, Bloomberg).
- Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in SQL, VBA, or modeling is strongly preferred.
- Strong grasp of performance measurement methodologies, attribution models, and investment risk metrics.
- Knowledge and some experience with private investment reporting (e.g., private equity, venture capital, real assets, private credit), including capital activity, valuations, and performance measurement, is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present complex data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Progress toward CFA or CIPM certification is a plus.
