As a Pool Service Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining residential swimming pools, ensuring proper water chemistry, inspecting and servicing equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service. We provide hands-on training, opportunities for growth, and a supportive, God-centered work environment built on honesty, integrity, respect, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform weekly pool maintenance, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, emptying baskets, and removing debris.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry to maintain safe and healthy swimming conditions.
- Add and safely handle pool chemicals according to industry standards.
- Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, timers, and automation systems.
- Diagnose and report equipment issues, performing minor repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate service records, including chemical readings, repairs, and customer notes.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding service updates, recommendations, and any concerns.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous pool service experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and understand basic water chemistry.
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida's heat and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing a daily service route.
- Friendly, professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
