Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming debris, vacuuming floors, and brushing surfaces to keep pools pristine.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance such as checking water levels, balancing chemicals, and inspecting filtration systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose mechanical issues with pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate necessary replacements using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain detailed service records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed to ensure accurate documentation.
- Identify potential problems early by conducting thorough equipment inspections and recommend preventative measures to clients.
- Assist with installing new pool equipment or upgrades, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and others while working with electrical components and chemicals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling pool equipment and related machinery.
- Proven ability in equipment repair, troubleshooting issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools for repair and installation tasks.
- Strong understanding of pool cleaning procedures and chemical balancing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
