What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner position at Tierra Retreat Center?
Have you ever wanted to work in the peace and quiet of the forest? Are you an independent worker and enjoy working by yourself? Do you enjoy cleaning up and taking care of well-maintained and nice spaces? If so, I’d love to have you come work as part of the cleaning crew at Tierra Retreat Center! The Retreat Center has a main lodge, 5 suite buildings with 4 suites per building, and a 30’ yoga yurt that need to be cleaned after each event.
I have part-time work available from now until November. We have weekend weddings and group events, as well as multi-day events throughout the year. Most cleaning happens on the day the group checks out which is usually a Sunday and then there are sometimes more hours available for the week following to get the facility ready for the next group. If you can’t work Sundays, I’d still love to have your help during the week! Or if you like to fold laundry I could definitely use help with that as well! I will send out e-mails with at least a three month schedule and you tell me the days you can work. It’s the perfect fill in job or seasonal super part time job for anyone wanting to pick the days you want to work!
Work days: Sundays (10am/ 11am-5/ 6pm); Mondays- Thursdays (flexible schedule)
Hours: 6-12 hrs./ wk (depends on the group and how many cleaners I have following an event)

Pay: $21/ hr. to start & $22/ hr after the first three times you clean
