What are the responsibilities and job description for the DDS SAE Grant Coordinator position at Tierra Del Sol Foundati?
The DDS SAE Grant Coordinator is under the supervision of the Director of Arts and the Chief Executive Officer. The DDS SAE Grant Coordinator is one of the key staff developing strategies, tools, and leading trainings for Tierra staff, artists and associates to implement successfully inclusive communication methods in support of deaf and hard of hearing individuals within Tierra’s art studios. The DDS SAE Grant Coordinator also builds a close working relationship with artists, associates, and Tierra staff to support their learning and also to be equipped to train others. This is a temporary, two-year grant position.
The DDS SAE Grant Coordinator works with the deaf or hard of hearing artist and his/her support team in developing communication strategies that support each individual's person centered future plan.

Principle Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and Implement Curriculum
- Bridge for Communication
- Conduct and Analyze Survey Tools
- Collect Ongoing Grant Data
This is a two year assignment with the possibility of renewal. Typically 35-40 hour per week position with typical hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For this position, staff will have a 30 minute working lunch when actively supporting clients. A working lunch agreement will be on file. These hours and duties are subject to change.
Qualifications:
- AA or Bachelor's degree in the field of American Sign Language, Social Services/Rehabilitation or Psychology.
- Experience with developmentally disabled individuals is helpful.
- Working knowledge of task analysis and positive behavior support techniques.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
- Clear written and communication skills and experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience in graphic programs.
Salary : $45,000 - $57,000
