What You’ll Do
The Senior DevOps Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for building, operating, and improving DevSecOps platforms and pipelines.
You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications move seamlessly from development to production. This role focuses on automation, platform reliability, and enforcing security and quality standards across cloud and CI/CD environments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Accelerate Secure Software Delivery
- Design, enhance, and operate CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Integrate automated testing, code quality, and security scanning (SAST, SCA, DAST)
- Enable AI-assisted development capabilities (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Strengthen Cloud & Container Platforms
- Build and manage Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) environments
- Improve scalability, reliability, and operational performance
- Enforce container security and governance best practices
Drive Consistency with Infrastructure as Code
- Develop reusable Terraform modules
- Integrate IaC into CI/CD pipelines with validation and compliance controls
- Ensure environment consistency through drift detection and remediation
Enhance Observability & Reliability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Improve platform reliability and performance

- Build, maintain, and optimize automation pipelines

- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform
- Integrate IaC practices into deployment workflows
Security Automation
- Implement security scanning tools and processes
- Manage vulnerabilities and remediation workflows
- Protect sensitive data using secure secrets management
Observability & Support
- Configure dashboards, alerts, and logs
- Participate in incident management and continuous improvement
Collaboration & Enablement
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices
- Mentor team members and support DevSecOps adoption
What You’ll Bring
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of DevOps and/or software engineering experience
- 5 years in Agile/Scrum environments
Technical Expertise
- CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, YAML pipelines
- Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), Helm
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- Security Tools: SAST/SCA (e.g., Checkmarx), SonarQube
- Monitoring Tools: Datadog, Splunk, or similar
Programming & Scripting
- Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Additional languages (Golang, C ) a plus
DevSecOps & Architecture
- Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices
- Experience implementing automated testing and quality controls
- Ability to analyze pipeline performance and optimize workflows
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
