What You’ll Do
As a Business Analyst, you will be involved end‑to‑end across the delivery lifecycle, including:
- Participate in all phases of solution delivery: requirements gathering, analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitated workshops to uncover pain points, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Document current‑state and future‑state processes, performing gap analysis to recommend enhancements
- Elicit, analyze, and decompose high‑level business and user needs into:
- Functional specifications
- User stories
- Business and technical process flows
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and shared understanding
- Analyze and validate business systems and data for accuracy, integrity, and overall fitness for use
- Develop and document:
- Business, functional, and technical requirements
- Source‑to‑target mappings for data movement, reporting, and downstream consumption
- Ensure requirements align with system guidelines, design standards, and application best practices
- Support the creation of technical scopes of work and assist with overall project execution
- Facilitate decision‑making conversations by documenting risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs
- Communicate progress, findings, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders
- Provide support and stakeholder training during solution rollouts
- Collaborate effectively with teams across multiple geographies and time zones, managing competing priorities while meeting delivery deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or another analytical field
- 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst
- Strong experience in:
- Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
- Stakeholder interviews and workshop facilitation
- Process documentation and gap analysis
- Proven ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear functional specs, user stories, metrics, and reports
- Solid mix of technical expertise and business acumen
- Strong logical reasoning, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
- Detail‑oriented, outcome‑focused mindset with excellent time and priority management
- Ability to adhere to project schedules and delivery deadlines
