Job Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Associate for a busy freight forwarding warehouse in Medley, FL. The ideal candidate must have an active forklift certification and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize freight
- Receive incoming shipments and verify paperwork
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing freight shipments
- Complete warehouse paperwork and inventory documentation
- Pull, pack, and stage orders for shipping
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals
Requirements
- Valid and active forklift certification
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Experience with paperwork, receiving, and dispatching
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must speak and read English
