What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Floor Care Technician- 3rd Shift position at Tier One Property Services?
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and polished floors throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform floor care services including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, and burnishing various types of flooring
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and vacuums
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Monitor floor conditions
- Assist in general custodial duties as needed (trash removal, spot cleaning, etc.)
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- For safety reasons, basic English proficiency is required
- A pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen (THC included)
- Previous floor care experience is required
- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus
- Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- MUST have atleast 1 year of floor care experience
