Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on driving new business and maintaining strong client relationships in the fire protection, fire alarm, security camera, access control, and other low voltage markets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in Outside Sales and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions for their facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with building owners, property managers, electrical contractors, and general contractors
- Conduct site visits and customer meetings to assess project requirements and present solutions
- Collaborate with estimating department to prepare and deliver accurate proposals, bids, and presentations.
- Collaborate with design, estimating, and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and local codes and standards
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Outside sales experience required
- Knowledge of fire protection, fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and related technologies (preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
