Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living environments
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Use janitorial tools and cleaning equipment effectively for carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and surface maintenance
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances when necessary
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by following detailed checklists and client-specific instructions
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the cleaning service
• Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled appointments promptly while maintaining quality standards
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines related to cleaning procedures, equipment use, and handling cleaning chemicals

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping management, or custodial roles with a strong understanding of janitorial practices
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and outdoor work experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and feedback
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple appointments
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• This is a contractor position, therefore, you must provide your own basic cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment.

Pay: $22.99 - $27.68 per hour
