We are currently looking for, Project Managers, Superintendents, Foreman, Heavy Equipment Mechanical Maintenance, Pipelayers, Heavy Equipment Operators, Loaders, Certified Plumber, Safety Specialist, Labors, CDL Drivers, in the Suffolk and Richmond areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the excavation and trenching activities needed for utility installation or repair projects in a safe manner
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision to ensure precise and safe work practices
- Follow detailed plans and blueprints to accurately lay out utility lines according to project specifications
- Support crew members in safely installing pipes, conduits, and other underground infrastructure components
- Help maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper disposal of debris and materials
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including always wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments, including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures and quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn new skills related to underground utility installation and maintenance
- Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and communication
- Prior experience in construction or utility work is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
