Job Description
As a Class A CDL Truck Driver with Tidewater Transit, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting bulk liquid and bulk dry products throughout our extensive network of customers. Tidewater Transit drivers must be committed to upholding the highest standard for safety and service.

Job Requirements:
Class A CDL Truck Driver Requirements

We’re looking for drivers who meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be at least 23 years old (Required)
• At least One Year Class A CDL Truck Driving Experience
• Current DOT Physical or ability to obtain one prior to employment
• You must be willing to obtain a Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC) - (not required to start!)
• Class A CDL Driver must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English Language (Required)
• Must be able to pass a respirator or pulmonary fit & function test (when applicable)
• Clean driving record with no recent major violations
• Tanker endorsement required
• Hazmat endorsement preferred (not required to start!)
• Commitment to safety and professionalism
• Willingness to stay out 2-3 nights to earn max pay

Wage Range: 1500.00 - 1800.00 per week
