The Part-Time Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in supporting this mission by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store operations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. This position requires an outgoing personality, a willingness to learn, and an interest in understanding the ins and outs of military retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming and engaging experience for all customers, building strong relationships and delivering knowledgeable service.
- Assist customers with product selection and answer questions related to tactical, law enforcement, and outdoor equipment.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation standards.
- Support inventory management, including restocking, organizing merchandise, and assisting with shipments.
- Understand and follow all safety procedures related to handling and displaying firearms.
- Support firearm compliance processes, including assisting with customer background checks and maintaining adherence to ATF regulations.
- Ensure all retail operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer needs and support daily store operations.
- Be available Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00am-5:00pm (3-4days a week).
Qualifications & Skills
- Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of military, tactical, and retail operations.
- Ability to understand and safely handle firearms in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding compliance and transactional accuracy.
- Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with retail operations.
- Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
