TRUCKING DISPATCHER
Savannah, GA
Tidewater Transit Co,. Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time dispatcher at our Garden City, GA terminal.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for efficient and cost-effective scheduling of drivers and routing of trucks.
- Knowledge of all DOT rules and regulations a must.
- Must be proficient in various computer programs including electronic logs.
- Oversee manifests are completed and provided to drivers in a timely manner.
- Take telephone orders and other information related to pick up's / deliveries.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Coordinate activities with department heads.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.
Experience in Logistics / Trucking a must to be considered for this position
