Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment across manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for ensuring optimal operation of complex systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC/R equipment. Your technical expertise will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on industrial machinery using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low/high voltage testers to identify faults in electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components to ensure seamless operation.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems, including refrigerant handling, compressor servicing, and ductwork adjustments.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify equipment specifications and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
  • Read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Support field service operations by providing technical assistance on-site or remotely, ensuring minimal downtime for clients’ equipment.
  • Document all maintenance activities meticulously within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and compliance purposes.
  • Assist with welding tasks ( welding) as needed to repair or fabricate parts for machinery or structural components.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment to prevent failures through proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and implement long-term solutions that improve reliability.

Experience

  • Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a focus on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including electrical troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and reading schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC programming, and industrial mechanics is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and documentation is preferred.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics readers, and other diagnostic tools confidently.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to high voltage work () and industrial electrician practices.
  • Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate technical information to clients or team members.
  • Prior experience in field service roles involving equipment repair across diverse industrial settings will be advantageous.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
