Our team works closely together to provide high quality, coordinated care that meets clients where they are.The Role:Tides Mental Health is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management and collaborative care for our patients.This role is ideal for an experienced PMHNP who enjoys working in a collaborative outpatient environment alongside therapists and who values thoughtful, client-centered psychiatric care. The PMHNP will play an important role in developing an integrated approach to mental health treatment that combines psychotherapy and medication management when appropriate.This position offers the opportunity to help build and shape psychiatric services within a growing and mission-driven practice.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessmentsPrescribe and manage psychotropic medications for clients receiving care at TidesProvide ongoing medication management and follow-up careCollaborate closely with our team of therapists to ensure coordinated, client-centered treatmentMaintain timely and accurate documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) systemParticipate in case consultation and contribute to the development of an integrated care modelSupport best practices in psychiatric treatment and client safetyQualifications:Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the Illinois Board of NursingFull Practice Authority (FPA) requiredActive DEA license and NPI number3–5 years of clinical experience in psychiatric, mental health, or outpatient settingsExperience providing psychiatric medication management for adults and/or adolescents preferredAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamStrong commitment to high-quality, ethical, and compassionate client careInterest in contributing to a growing and innovative private practice environmentCompensation & Benefits:Full-time employment with competitive compensation, including a combination of base salary and productivity-based RVU bonusesParticipation in the company’s Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA), allowing flexibility in selecting health insurance coveragePaid time off (PTO) for full-time team membersSupportive leadership and collaborative clinical cultureOpportunities for professional growth as the practice expandsTides Mental Health is an equal opportunity employer.
